Terms of Service

Last updated: April 20, 2026 · Effective: April 20, 2026

These are the rules of using Refunder. Read them — especially the parts about what Refunder is not.

Refunder is not a law firm. We are a self-help software tool. Using Refunder is not the same as hiring a lawyer. We do not provide legal advice. We do not represent you in any dispute. You file your own dispute with your own bank or card issuer. If you need legal advice, talk to a licensed attorney.

1. Accepting these terms

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern the relationship between you and Tech SG LLC, a company having its address at 3753 Howard Hughes Parkway, Suite 200-778, Las Vegas, NV 89169 ("we", "us", "our", the "Company", or "Refunder") regarding your use of refunder.ai and app.refunder.ai (together, the "Service"), including all content, software, and outputs available through the Service.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old to use Refunder.

2. What Refunder is

Refunder is a software tool that helps US consumers:

  • Understand their options when a charge has gone wrong.
  • Identify the most likely chargeback reason code under Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover rules.
  • Assemble an evidence checklist tailored to the specific case.
  • Generate a draft dispute letter and a bank-ready PDF package.
  • Understand applicable filing deadlines.

3. What Refunder is not

  • Not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, represent you, or form an attorney-client relationship with you.
  • Not a bank or card issuer. We do not decide whether your dispute wins or loses. Your bank and the card network make that decision.
  • Not a guarantee of outcome. Even a perfectly built dispute can be denied. We give you the best possible chance — we don't promise a win.
  • Not a filing service. We help you prepare a dispute; you file it with your own bank.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for any activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information — especially about the transactions you dispute. Providing false information to us or to your bank may be considered fraud and may result in termination of your account and referral to the appropriate authorities.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • File disputes you know to be false — a practice known as "friendly fraud."
  • Attempt chargebacks on transactions you authorized and received in good faith.
  • Violate any applicable law — federal, state, or local.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute the Service, its content, or its outputs.
  • Abuse, harass, or impersonate anyone through our support channels.
  • Upload malware, spam, or content you don't have the right to share.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Refunder is offered on a paid subscription basis, with pricing and plans displayed inside the app before you subscribe. Subscriptions automatically renew until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then.

Refunds and cancellations

Cancellations, refund eligibility, free-trial terms, and recurring-billing disclosures are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference. Please read it before subscribing.

7. Outcomes and no guarantees

Chargebacks and refund disputes are governed by your bank, the card network (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), and applicable law. We do not control any of those. We cannot and do not guarantee that your bank will approve a dispute, that the merchant will not defend the case, or that funds will be returned to you. Any success-rate estimates, timelines, or projections shown inside the app are informational only.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, content, and AI-generated templates, is owned by Refunder. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service — and to use the outputs we generate for you (dispute letters, evidence checklists, etc.) — for the purpose of filing your own dispute. You may not resell, redistribute, or incorporate our outputs into a commercial service.

You retain full ownership of the content you upload (case narratives, evidence files). You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service to you.

9. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party providers (for example, Solidgate for payment processing, cloud hosting and delivery providers, and large-language-model providers for AI features). Your use of those providers is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their actions or failures.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Refunder and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including loss of recovery, lost profits, or lost data — arising out of your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Refunder harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising out of (a) your violation of these Terms, (b) your violation of applicable law, or (c) your misuse of the Service — including filing false or fraudulent disputes.

13. Termination

You can stop using the Service anytime and delete your account from within your account settings. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service. If we terminate without cause, we'll refund any unused prepaid subscription fees on a prorated basis.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts — unless applicable consumer-protection law in your state gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere, in which case that right is preserved.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are material, we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept them. If you don't accept changes, your remedy is to stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.

16. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. You cannot assign these Terms without our written consent; we can assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
